Demonstrated experience with Payload CMS or similar headless CMS platforms, including content modeling and custom component development, is required. Strong design skills with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX and component-based systems, proficiency in modern front-end technologies like React/Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks, and familiarity with accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization are essential. Experience working with APIs and dynamic data integrations, along with fluent English communication and collaboration skills, is also necessary. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering at a fast pace.
The Web Experience Designer & Payload Developer will be responsible for designing and delivering reusable, brand-consistent, and scalable page templates, such as product landing pages, and creating designs in Figma for review. They will build and configure these templates within Payload CMS, ensuring ease of management and repurposing for editors. The role involves developing and implementing reusable widgets and components, like author profile cards or live pricing blocks, and collaborating with Organic Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to align templates and widgets with performance, UX, and SEO/AIO requirements. Ensuring responsive design and accessibility standards are consistently applied, integrating external data sources via APIs into CMS-driven components, and providing technical documentation and training to internal teams are also key duties. The developer will stay current with design and front-end development best practices and CMS advancements to drive innovation.
