  • Must pass all pre-employment testing (Background Check, Physical Abilities Test)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Warehouse experience is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areas
  • Operate the Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to scan and create labels, ensuring labels are correctly placed on products
  • Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (e.g., no heavy-on-light, labels facing outward)
  • Frequently lift products weighing 1–75 pounds and up to 88 pounds; regularly reach, bend, and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, including retrieving items from lower shelves
  • Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product
  • Stage pallets for loading at the proper dock locations
  • Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock
  • Follow all sanitation requirements and company policies
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jacks, SOS units, and personal protective equipment
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and safely operate all mechanical equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
