Requirements

  • SHIFT: 6am-6:30pm on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
  • Expertise in warehouse SAP transactions for shipping and receiving (e.g., goods issue, goods receipts, bin-to-bin transfers, consumptions)
  • WMS/Inventory systems expertise
  • Hands-on experience supporting day-to-day warehousing operations
  • Ability to serve as technical and systems point of contact, providing guidance and resolving issues
  • Knowledge of safety and efficiency best practices for training
  • Dependability, adaptability, and adherence to company policies
  • Role model for systems knowledge in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage dock appointments for inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Serve as the technical and systems point of contact for warehouse associates, providing guidance and resolving issues
  • Support the warehouse team in all aspects of day-to-day operations
  • Assist in developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations
  • Train team members on best practices, emphasizing safety and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to management
  • Conduct routine inventory checks, including adjustments and troubleshooting discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Quality and Food Safety, Inventory Controller, and Logistics teams to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist the inventory controller in weekly cycle counts and support annual physical inventory processes
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on data to improve team performance
  • Actively participate in warehouse daily connection points
  • Support the warehouse supervisor and site inventory controller by building capability in warehouse associates to bridge skill gaps and encourage development
  • Serve as weekend point of contact for warehouse operations, following the site escalation protocol
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a change agent by encouraging innovative ideas and solutions
  • Other duties, as assigned
