Must be at least 18 years of age
Must pass a functional capacity test
Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker
Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time
Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements
Ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred: Previous knowledge of SAP
Preferred: One year warehouse experience
Preferred: Previous forklift certification
Preferred: 6 months of previous warehouse experience and/or training
Preferred: Material handling equipment experience
Preferred: Reach truck experience
Ability to work a varying schedule including night shift (Sun-Thu 5:00p - 1:30am or finished, up to 2 hours/day OT), weekdays, weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities

Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure
Load merchandise into appropriate truck
Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots
Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines
Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery
Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy
Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”
Identify and report slot and put-away problems
Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed
Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
