Requirements

Candidates should possess a genuine passion for teaching design, demonstrating strong understanding of UX design principles and practices, with at least three years of professional experience in UX design and a portfolio showcasing their work. Applicants must also be proficient in utilizing Zoom for video check-ins and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside empathy for students' challenges and goals.

Responsibilities

The Course Mentor will conduct weekly 30-minute video check-ins with students to discuss progress, answer questions, and provide feedback, offering ongoing support outside of these scheduled sessions to review student projects and address questions as needed. They will also assist students in setting learning goals, providing career advice, offering constructive feedback on student projects, and participating in a community of UX design mentors.
