Requirements

  • 15+ years of business experience, including leadership roles in R&D, manufacturing operations, project management, and commercial
  • MBA preferred
  • Foundation in marketing & sales, project management, and manufacturing operations competencies
  • Expert in project portfolio management
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a senior leader point of view
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS and localization roadmap for an operating business
  • Ability to build portfolio analysis for project prioritization
  • Superior communication skills and intercultural communication competence
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Superior time and project management skills
  • Hands-on experience implementing DBS or process improvement/orientation in a leadership role
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented but able to see the big picture

Responsibilities

  • Lead Key Strategy Deployment projects including innovation and localization in the development of a DBS and localization roadmap in growth processes (e.g., identify and launch local manufacturing projects such as manufacturing transfers, OEM, and develop local automation & digital solutions to improve productivity and lab info management) in collaboration with local internal and external partners across commercial, manufacturing site, and R&D teams
  • Drive targeted Policy Deployment (PD), growth-oriented KPI improvement by leveraging DBS tools and change management process
  • Identify key areas of growth and differentiation in innovation and localization to enrich portfolio and end-to-end lab solutions based on local customers' needs to improve Life Sciences China share gain in the market
  • Work closely with global leadership and R&D teams to identify and launch innovation and localization projects in China market
  • Play a key role in product management to link global and regional initiatives and synergies on the broader strategic direction for China region
  • Drive and lead the whole innovation and localization project portfolio process from ideation to SOP, leveraging VPM tools and SW to replicate success (e.g., drafting directional China for China roadmap, product planning)
  • Attract, engage, and retain outstanding talents that embrace the Danaher core values and the Danaher Business System (DBS), committed to providing outstanding support for customers
