Requirements

Professional and intellectual versatility to participate in all aspects of the life cycle of insurance portfolio management expansion, including business development, portfolio management, idea generation, problem-solving, analytical support, client servicing, and relationship management
Ability to grow rapidly in complexity and responsibility based on unique skills and growth in client base and assets under management

Responsibilities

Work with prospective and existing insurance company clients in a team setting to define and understand their holistic investment needs
Help design customized investment solutions reflecting each client’s unique requirements based on deep understanding of their needs
Contribute to the implementation of customized investment solutions by coordinating investment activity and decision-making of Voya asset sector specialists across public and private fixed income asset classes and alternatives
Direct and coordinate internal non-investment expertise (risk, tax, capital, legal, accounting) to incorporate those disciplines into investment decision-making
Participate in ongoing servicing of insurance client needs, including providing analytical and informational support to investment strategy, monitoring and reporting on investment positions, producing scheduled and ad hoc reports on portfolio position and performance, monitoring financial market data, and ensuring adherence to investment policy guidelines
Support clients’ informational requirements by responding to requests for information, preparing materials for weekly and monthly client communications, and creating quarterly investment reviews
Work with investment operations staff to resolve client-related administrative and investment operations issues
Assist in developing and executing proactive, creative ongoing initiatives to identify and satisfy clients’ evolving needs in the dynamic investment environment
