Requirements

Candidates must have previous leadership experience in a multi-region SaaS environment with a proven track record of driving innovation. Deep expertise in Connect & Ecosystem technologies, strategic thinking capabilities, and experience leading geographically distributed engineering organizations are required. A culture builder who sets the tone for high delivery, accountability, and quality is essential. A change agent mindset focused on simplifying processes and driving continuous improvement is necessary, along with an expert-level understanding of AWS/cloud-native infrastructure and microservices. Mastery of SaaS/IaaS/PaaS platforms, container orchestration, and service mesh architectures, a strong grasp of API design, architectural governance, and managing technical debt, and experience with operations are also required.

Responsibilities

The VP of SaaS Engineering will lead and manage the SaaS Xplor Gym engineering department, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves shaping engineering roadmaps, driving architectural decisions, crafting business cases, and leading initiatives that push industry boundaries. Responsibilities include leading distributed engineering teams, championing modern SaaS practices, optimizing processes, driving quality standards, mentoring colleagues, fostering an engineering culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning, and expanding the technical community through partnerships.
