Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to technical teams, establishing goals, priorities, and objectives aligned with company roadmaps and strategies
  • Prioritize and manage a portfolio of AI projects, balancing budgets and priorities with technology and business teams across TWDC segments
  • Establish and communicate a long-term vision for AI technologies at TWDC, aligned with company/segment objectives and market trends
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise inventory of business needs, mapping AI tools to use cases and facilitating third-party matchmaking
  • Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate partner tools/capabilities and inform deals
  • Collaborate with executives and technical partners to demonstrate AI potential, communicating vision, roadmap, and status
  • Serve as a liaison between segment technology teams and business executives to harness collective AI expertise
  • Support development of business and cost models to quantify project efficiency and ROI
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in software engineering and AI to drive team learning and adoption
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio/project performance, tracking KPIs and updating senior leadership
  • Oversee design, development, and validation of AI solutions aligning with technical/operational requirements and business needs
  • Adapt and scale AI models (internal, commercial, open-source, external) to Disney's priority business objectives
  • Drive and execute AI roadmaps, engaging stakeholders to deliver projects and build segment AI team capabilities
  • Oversee project timelines, resource distribution, budget management, and staffing optimization for the AI Core Team
  • Develop and oversee program plans ensuring feedback loops between end-users and designers to customize AI models
