Requirements

Candidates should have further education in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, along with a portfolio showcasing work for high-profile brands, SaaS, or tech companies. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is required, as is knowledge of responsive design, inclusive design principles, and scalable design systems. Strong storytelling skills with a deep understanding of branding, typography, layout, and user psychology are also necessary, along with the ability to effectively communicate design rationale and present work to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

The Senior Designer will lead large-scale design projects to shape the look and feel of Zoom, ensuring visual elements enhance accessibility, user experience, and business impact. Responsibilities include leading the ideation, design, and execution of visually compelling, brand-aligned digital experiences across Zoom’s web ecosystem. They will maintain and evolve Zoom’s web design system, collaborate with stakeholders to design engaging web pages and feature launches, and advocate for best practices in responsive design, accessibility, and UX/UI principles. The role also involves managing design projects from concept to delivery, working closely with developers for seamless handoffs, creating marketing materials, staying ahead of industry trends, and mentoring junior designers.
