Requirements

Highly qualified, state certified educator (TX certification for Math)
Ability to deliver live and asynchronous instruction in an online, virtual environment
Experience or ability to support, guide, and manage student learning based on individual needs
Skills in lesson grading, providing feedback, parent/student messaging, and interacting with local school representatives
Ability to work independently in a professional home office without distractions during workday (typically 8:00am-5:00pm or as defined by needs)
Availability for full-time role (40+ hours/week, 10 months following academic school year, with flexible scheduling; summer/weekend options possible)
Comfortable with on-camera presentation and direct student engagement
Access to reliable equipment (provided by company)

Responsibilities

Provide personalized, effective learning experiences using rigorous curriculum, data-driven, and student-centered models
Deliver specific Math course content in virtual environments (live and asynchronous)
Facilitate student engagement, encourage discussion, ensure progress toward goals, and develop rapport for shared accountability
Grade lessons, provide feedback, manage parent/student messaging, and interact with local school representatives
Support multiple service offerings: Flexible Virtual Learning (grading, messaging, live help), Enhanced Virtual Learning (daily scheduled sessions), Targeted Skills Instruction (tutoring/small group), Special Education (IEP-based instruction), standalone grading, and class coverage
Work closely with students, parents/learning coaches to advance learning goals
Maintain professional on-camera presence and direct engagement
Achieve success metrics including student assessment data (passing/completion rates) and satisfaction ratings
