Requirements

Ability to commit to hybrid work structure (in-person at US hubs: Austin TX, Chicago IL, New York City NY, San Francisco CA, Washington DC metro; or Europe hubs: London UK, Amsterdam NL; at least 2 days/week or 8 days/month)
Executive leadership experience to architect, build, and scale a deployment function
Expertise in end-to-end deployment lifecycle (configuration, integrations, change enablement, communications)
Ability to define operating models, build teams, and codify repeatable deployment approaches
Skills to lead Client Delivery Directors, Configuration Squads, and Communications & Change Partners
Experience aligning forward-deployed technical teams (Data Partners, Forward Deployed Engineers, Forward Deployed PMs) with Product and Engineering
Partnership experience with Customer Success, Sales, and Solutions teams

Responsibilities

Design and build the vision, structure, and new operating model for the Deployment function, aligned to BetterUp’s platform and Services strategy
Build foundational playbooks, delivery standards, and success metrics for scalable, repeatable deployments
Directly lead Client Delivery Directors, Configuration Squads, and Communications & Change Partners
Inspire, develop, and retain exceptional talent across technical and delivery disciplines
Collaborate deeply with Product and Engineering to align forward-deployed teams around deployment excellence
Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless handoff to ongoing value realization
Partner with Sales and Solutions to shape resourcing, scoping, and deployment readiness
Own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, ensuring complex enterprise launches deliver measurable value and enduring impact
Transition deployment model from product/solution-focused to services-led platform deployment
Achieve faster time-to-value, measurable partner outcomes, and a scalable deployment playbook
Ensure forward-deployed technical teams operate with shared standards and processes
Operate the Deployment function efficiently with accountability for cost, quality, and delivery performance
Deliver seamless partner journey from contract to activation to strengthen trust, retention, and expansion
