Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing top-tier corporate and investment clients headquartered in Southeast Asia and Australia
  • Good command of credit and experience with investment banking products such as M&A, Advisory, ECM, Strategic Equity Solutions, DCM, Structured Finance
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines
  • CFA qualification is a plus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of global corporate and investment banking clients headquartered in Southeast Asia
  • Identify and originate business opportunities with clients in conjunction with relevant business partners in Santander’s network countries
  • Prepare client business plans, budgets, and risk proposals
  • Monitor the risk exposure and credit standing of clients in the portfolio, as well as the profitability of client relationships to Santander
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal and external standards and compliance requirements, including KYCs and sound risk profile of client portfolio
  • Drive conversations with senior client executives to be a trusted advisor and originate mutually beneficial new businesses
