Requirements

  • Typically 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in verification and validation
  • Ability to solve complex problems using existing solutions and take a new perspective
  • Works independently with minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides informal guidance to junior staff
  • Contributes to process improvements
  • Preference for prior experience working with client at offshore/onsite
  • Ability to travel to client office location as requested (fully on-site in Northford, CT)

Responsibilities

  • Develop test scripts, perform test execution, and bug reporting
  • Prepare Test Designs based on documented project requirements and team discussions
  • Perform manual and/or automated testing of key web and mobile application projects
  • Collaborate with other leads on developing continuous integration (CI) pipeline and unit test automation, and document the work, especially for APIs
  • Validate fixes and maintain clear and appropriate bug tracking documentation
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Support build releases to staging and production environments
  • Enhance and maintain testing frameworks for scalability, stability, and performance
