Requirements

  • Expertise in vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, changes, and deactivation

  • Ability to manage helpdesk operations, SLAs, escalation paths, case management, and root-cause analytics
  • Skills in statement reconciliations, variance resolution, and KPI reporting/dashboards
  • Capability to oversee AP close processes, subledger accuracy, reconciliations, and cross-functional coordination
  • Leadership experience managing teams (Vendor Master & Onboarding, Vendor Relations, AP Governance & Close)
  • Understanding of ERP systems, segregation of duties, and secure master data access
  • Strategic focus on scalability, continuous improvement, M&A onboarding support, and growth without proportional headcount increases

Responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor onboarding, change, and deactivation processes per policy
  • Maintain control documentation, evidence tracking, and approval hierarchies for vendor data changes
  • Ensure segregation of duties and secure master data access within ERP
  • Lead AP helpdesk operations, case resolution, SLA tiers, and escalation paths
  • Build and maintain self-service portal and knowledge base for vendor and user experience
  • Analyze inquiry trends and drive process improvements to reduce recurring issues
  • Oversee vendor statement reconciliations for liability completeness
  • Partner cross-functionally to investigate/resolve variances and open items
  • Provide visibility into unreconciled balances and aged items via dashboards and KPI reports
  • Own AP monthly/quarterly close cadence, including subledger locks, aging review, and accrual readiness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Publish compliance dashboards and report on key controls and policy adherence
  • Define and enforce enterprise-wide vendor master policies, standards, and approval workflows
  • Implement vendor validation processes for data integrity and compliance
  • Build unified AP helpdesk and case management model
  • Deploy analytics and exception monitoring for duplicates, fraud, and noncompliance
  • Standardize AP close calendar, subledger lock procedures, reconciliations, and handoffs
  • Leverage automation for continuous improvement and scalability
