Requirements
- 5+ years overall IT experience
- 4+ years managing a Citrix virtual desktop environment, VDI solutions
- Large enterprise experience in various virtualization technologies like PaaS, DaaS, and IaaS
- Experience in DaaS, On-Prem Infra management for Citrix virtual apps and desktops
- Experience with Citrix ADC/NetScaler
- Experience with Citrix Workspace and Storefront
- Experience with Citrix MCS and PVS
- Experience with virtual machine management and UPM, and FSLogix
- Knowledge of Windows 2016/2019/2022 server
- Enterprise-level Active Directory and Group Policy design and implementations
- Extensive knowledge of network technologies at each layer of the OSI Model, and related tools
- Ability to write scripts to improve performance, resolve issues, and automate processes via PowerShell or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and strict Change Management processes
- Able to work on On-Call & shift rotations wrt responding to the alerts
Responsibilities
- Manage Citrix environments, PVS and MCS, and DaaS
- Proactively working on solutions and optimization
- Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and issues and working towards resolution
- Support the VDI environment end-to-end
- Help manage business applications
- Working on incidents and requests from service desk tickets
- Support off-hour upgrades and installations
- Build and maintain detailed system documentation and KB articles to the solution center support
- Profile resets, performance monitoring, and providing solutions to level 1 and 2 issues
- Update management, Profiling solutions, and handling workloads
- Drive the execution of multiple technology solutions, business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans
- Solve the most complex tasks across system/business functions
- Influence across the organization and across the Enterprise
