Requirements

  • A few years experience in planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting on user studies
  • Comfortable facilitating interviews
  • Understand the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
  • Passionate about design, products and people
  • Experience and/or a keen interest in enterprise UX
  • Experience in various quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Experience in creating wireframes, user flows and rough mockups to communicate ideas and improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good storyteller
  • Curious about human behavior and understand the effect of different cognitive biases
  • Know how to distill meaning from data to promote better understanding of users' mental models

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product owners, designers and other stakeholders on planning and executing research activities
  • Employ a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, in the lab, remotely, and in the field
  • Synthesise the outputs into actionable insights in order to inform the product roadmap
  • Effectively communicate research findings to key stakeholders
  • Advocate for research to be an integral part of our product design process
  • Contribute to building a culture of insights-driven product design and development
  • Mentor designers and other colleagues in developing their research skills
  • Actively suggest improvements of our products based on data and heuristic evaluations
  • Help establish our Product Design strategy and processes
  • Evangelize user experience research and user-centered design throughout the company
