Requirements

Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant UX design experience and a BA degree in Interaction Design, Information Design, Visual Design, HCI, or a related field. They must be able to create usable and compelling experiences through a user-centered design process, excel in end-to-end product design including user research, wireframing, prototyping, applying design patterns, and visual design, and think about design as a system. The ability to contribute to and maintain a pattern library to influence quality and efficiency is also required, along with a belief in feedback.

Responsibilities

The UX Designer II will develop a deep understanding of products and the product development process, contribute to and help direct the build-out of the internal design system, and own all design aspects of a project through to production. They will design and prototype elegant solutions for mobile and web apps, partner with product managers on product strategy and definition, identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas with UX researchers, and refine designs with data and user feedback. Responsibilities also include documenting detailed interaction models and UI specifications, collaborating with other designers to maintain design consistency, managing and prioritizing multiple projects from concept to completion, and evangelizing best UX practices to other designers, engineers, and product managers.
