Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), communications, or equivalent professional experience as an interactive/user experience designer
  • 3+ years of relevant UX/UI design experience, interaction design, information architecture, software/web design, or similar role
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch
  • Experience working on B2B, B2B2C, and D2C platforms for the web, enterprise applications, software that leverage emergent technologies, consumer appliances, and mobile devices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with active collaboration with product owners, UX peers, developers, business stakeholders, and corporate brand marketing

Responsibilities

  • Translating product functionality requirements into interactive and visually creative solutions
  • Incorporating market research and psychology to design human-computer interfaces for optimal effectiveness, including easily navigable content and high-quality visual/information designs
  • Participating in the discovery, design, development, and deployment processes of the software delivery lifecycle, including market and user research, creating journey maps, site maps, personas, developing wireframes and high-fidelity interface designs, conducting usability testing to validate assumptions, and supporting front-end development
  • Facilitating design thinking workshops as needed to support the overall product UX roadmap and vision
  • Leveraging metrics, qualitative, and quantitative research to validate design decisions and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and clients
  • Participating in or leading client progress meetings, reporting results, making recommendations, and assisting clients in understanding strategies developed to aid in strategic decisions
  • Being a great storyteller – verbally, visually, in writing, and behaviorally, generating and communicating research, conceptual ideas, attractive designs, and design rationale within a structured user-centered design process
  • Being a natural problem solver, juggling multiple demands, prioritizing concurrent UX/UI initiatives across multiple teams, delivering under tight timelines, and adapting to change
