Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to use a computer to perform job duties
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL (commercial drivers license)
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, constantly changing customer service-driven environment
  • Flexible: assigned shift but may be assigned to another shift for designated periods
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift on a regular and prolonged basis

Responsibilities

  • Supply materials in a timely manner to production areas and customers
  • Assist in the unloading of various incoming materials
  • Receive and store incoming materials
  • Perform GMP cleaning
  • Effectively utilize the MITS (Material Inventory Tracking System) to locate and deliver items based on FEFO (First Expiration, First Out)
  • Accurately scan materials in MITS when moved, ensuring they are in the correct location
  • Read production schedules to anticipate customer needs
  • Drive a forklift safely and effectively, moving various load types using different storage methods (stacking, drive-in racks, push back racks, etc.) without damage
  • Understand and adhere to all storage requirements (e.g., allergen, plastics, oils)
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
  • Meet compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies/procedures
