Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, in person, and in writing
  • Good record-keeping skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be a well-organized person
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical tools is helpful
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Must be able and willing to climb ladders
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions
  • Able to work with Plant View/SAP/EIM
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Rehire consideration: 180 days (6 months) waiting period; max of two previous Tyson employments

Responsibilities

  • Sign out parts
  • Fill out count sheets
  • Count parts out and assure that parts count matches the count sheet
  • Document differences in counts
  • Responsible for cleaning and organizing the parts department
  • Boxing up eliminated parts
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintaining product flow
  • Relieving team members on line for breaks
  • Filling in during labor shortages
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
