Requirements
- Ability to provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Capability to maintain merchandise presentation, including stocking, setting up displays, cleaning, organizing, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing, and securing merchandise
- Knowledge of company policies/procedures for handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging/organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
- Skills in receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining the Tire & Battery Center, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs
- Adherence to safety standards, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling/disposing hazardous materials, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations
- Proficiency operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges for various membership/payment types
- Competence in assisting with purchasing/service decisions, completing vehicle service requests/tests, operating Tire & Battery Center equipment safely
- Ability to receive, store, dispose of merchandise/supplies, and maintain paperwork
- Skills in maintaining/servicing automobiles: driving vehicles in/out of bays, identifying/notating/informing about damage, following tire installation guidelines, performing services like repairing/replacing flats, balancing/rotating tires, testing/installing batteries, operating computer equipment
Responsibilities
- Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues/concerns, and promoting products/services
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing appropriately, securing fragile/high-shrink items
- Maintain Sales Floor in Tire & Battery Center per company policies: handle claims/returns, zone area, arrange/organize merchandise, identify shrink/damages
- Receive/stock merchandise, organize/maintain Tire & Battery Center following procedures, utilize equipment, merchandise, complete paperwork/logs/documentation
- Maintain facility safety by following standards/procedures/guidelines: conduct safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handle/dispose hazardous materials, follow steel standards, correct/report unsafe situations
- Operate cash registers/equipment, process purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges using appropriate procedures
- Provide products/services per policies: assist purchasing/service decisions, complete vehicle service requests/tests, operate equipment safely, receive/store/dispose merchandise/supplies, maintain paperwork
- Maintain/service members' automobiles: drive cars in/out of bays, identify/notate/inform about vehicle damage, follow tire installation guidelines, perform additional services (repair/replace flats, balance/rotate tires, test/install batteries), operate computer equipment for services
