Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
  • Support implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
  • Model, enforce, and guide associates on proper customer service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Model compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; incorporate into business plans and use Open Door Policy
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing controls, overseeing reviews, and providing direction on programs
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering immunizations and programs in compliance with regulations
  • Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicate expectations, hold others accountable for SOPs, ensure counseling and documentation
  • Analyze areas for improvement, implement interventions for team knowledge, patient safety, and risk reduction; promote error reporting and transparency; write plans of action for root causes
  • Foster environment for health care compliance execution; communicate, train, and guide on compliance initiatives and follow-up
  • Implement and monitor compliance priorities, billing procedures, HIPAA adherence, and SOPs; utilize auditing to identify and improve issues
