Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be licensed as a Staff Pharmacist in the state of operation. They must have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, medication dispensing, and patient counseling, along with experience in handling controlled substances.
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation, and ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations. They will also create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy, communicate clear expectations regarding quality of care and patient safety, and ensure counseling occurs on new therapy and as requested by patients.
