Responsibilities

  • Provides pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
  • Counsels customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
  • Maintains confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Applies expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans, supporting customer and business needs
  • Provides and supports implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction on proper customer service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues
  • Models compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; uses Open Door Policy
  • Ensures compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing controls, and providing guidance on programs
  • Provides comprehensive patient care, including administering immunizations and programs in compliance with regulations
  • Creates a culture of patient care safety and accuracy; communicates expectations and holds others accountable for SOPs and quality goals
  • Ensures counseling on new therapy, new items, and as requested/required, with appropriate documentation
  • Analyzes areas for improvement, implements interventions for team knowledge, patient safety, and risk reduction
  • Promotes reporting and transparency of errors; writes timely plans of action for root cause correction
  • Actively communicates, trains, and guides compliance initiatives and processes to associates
  • Implements and monitors compliance execution, including billing, HIPAA, and SOP
  • Utilizes auditing to identify compliance issues and implement improvement processes
