- Proficiency in creating/processing work orders, performing minor diagnostics with technical/electronic equipment (e.g., tractor engine components, electronics, drive trains, minor HVAC)
- Ability to assess maintenance/repair/replacement needs, identify parts/solutions, consult others, and select/conduct best repairs (e.g., drivetrain components, communication equipment, onboard technology, tractor/trailer HVAC diagnostics)
- Capability to receive fuel drops, conduct fuel sampling, monitor safety compliance, handle fuel additives/tank levels, prepare/ship samples, and complete paperwork
- Knowledge of correctly identifying/performing warrantable repairs, entering accurate data into maintenance systems, completing warranty tags, retaining parts, and processing warranty claims
- Availability for schedule: Wed - Sat, 1530-0200

Responsibilities
- Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements on all Walmart equipment (e.g., trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, service vehicles) by creating/processing work orders, conducting diagnostics, assessing needs, identifying parts/solutions, consulting others, and executing repairs following company/DOT guidelines
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates verbally/in writing regarding repairs and issues
- Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling: monitor drops for safety compliance, follow procedures for additives, monitor tank levels, collect/prepare/ship samples, complete paperwork
- Identify and perform warrantable repairs: enter accurate condition/cause/correction data into maintenance system, complete warranty tags, retain parts per guidelines, process warranty claims for credit
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- Collaborate with teams, embrace differences, build relationships, mentor/develop others, recognize contributions
