Responsibilities

  • Control access to the facility by verifying identifications, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs
  • Maintain a visible and proactive presence to deter potential security threats and provide security to employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Accomplish work assignments, prioritize tasks, and utilize policies and resources
  • Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners on priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • Carry out assigned tasks, communicate progress, and share relevant information
  • Identify and suggest improvements
  • Adhere to safety procedures, use PPE, operate equipment safely, and report hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents
  • Participate in safety trainings and drills, maintain cleanliness to prevent accidents, and contribute to safety protocol improvements
  • Conduct regular security checks of employees, visitors, and vehicles to prevent theft or unauthorized items
  • Provide assistance and guidance during emergencies or security concerns, including evacuations, first aid, and directing to safe areas
  • Maintain accurate security reports, incident logs, and documentation
  • Promote, monitor, and enforce safe work practices by testing alarm, fire, and suppression systems
  • Conduct security inspections on buildings, grounds, and trailers
  • Monitor inbound and outbound trailers via computer applications and report unusual activity
  • Create and issue new and replacement associate and visitor badges
  • Comply with company policies, use Open Door Policy, and apply in business processes
