Requirements
- Ability to monitor dairy plant production processes (e.g., milk receiving, separation, standardization, pasteurization, batching) by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Skills in ensuring accurate paperwork, verifying charts (e.g., frequency, pen cut in/cut out, temperatures), recording product temperatures
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties and communicate problems affecting production efficiency or food safety to management
- Knowledge of required safety practices, including confined space safety guidelines, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safe chemical handling, fall restraints, equipment sanitation (CIP and hand cleaning), and reporting safety concerns
- Ability to maintain process data and equipment performance data for continuous improvement, operate and clean equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
- Proficiency in operating equipment at recommended speeds, monitoring fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopes for dairy product quality and efficiency
- Competence in completing work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; recommending improvements; adapting to change
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; use of Open Door Policy

Responsibilities
- Monitor dairy plant production processes (e.g., milk receiving, separation, standardization, pasteurization, batching) following SOPs and GMPs; ensure accurate paperwork and chart verification (frequency, pen cut in/out, temperatures); record product temperatures
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues; communicate production efficiency or food safety concerns to management
- Follow safety practices: observe confined space guidelines, wear PPE, ensure safe chemical handling and fall restraints, maintain equipment sanitation (CIP, hand cleaning), report safety issues
- Support continuous improvement: maintain process and equipment data to improve quality and throughput; operate/clean equipment to maximize throughput/minimize downtime; communicate mechanical/operational issues; operate at recommended speeds; monitor fats, total solids, allergens, cryoscopes
- Complete assignments and priorities: use policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change/feedback
