Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team across prepared foods departments (café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, communicating goals, and executing company programs
  • Maintain prepared foods area standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, safety, and compliance; manage seasonality and prioritize production areas
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make real-time decisions on production, training, and quality
  • Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, profitability, appropriate staffing, accurate audits/compliance, and merchandise layout
  • Engage with other departments and third-party partners (e.g., maintenance, suppliers, vendors) for operational continuity
  • Train and develop the team by identifying needs, providing skills for high-quality products, encouraging career growth, and sourcing talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis, monitoring, and improvement identification
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist with correcting issues using Open Door Policy
  • Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, determining priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback, and adapting to change
