Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements comprehensive training plans for Walmart Private Fleet drivers to meet safety and operational standards
  • Manages facilitation of learning activities, including associate training on leadership case studies or functional scenarios
  • Connects with business stakeholders to determine training needs, collaborates on content creation, and engages subject-matter experts for practical scenarios
  • Oversees and manages Fleet Development Facilitators, providing guidance, feedback, performance assessments, and recommendations for training
  • Assesses performance of drivers and Facilitators, implementing improvement plans as necessary
  • Ensures fleet operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, modeling ethics and integrity
  • Allocates resources efficiently to meet operational demands and optimize fleet performance; oversees maintenance of training equipment
  • Prepares and presents reports on fleet performance, training outcomes, and Facilitator activities to senior management
  • Works with other departments to align fleet development with company goals, building stakeholder relationships and identifying business needs
  • Manages and delivers complex training courses, encouraging participation and providing immediate feedback
  • Provides expert advice and guidance to team members, supports business solutions, and adapts to changes
  • Coordinates job-related activities, develops relationships with stakeholders, sets goals, measures progress, and promotes continuous learning
  • Supervises associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, supports mission/values, implements action plans, and utilizes Open Door Policy
