  • Assists with picking/staging club pick up orders, ensures proper selection/staging within timeframes, and performs accuracy audits
  • Handles/moves/displays goods safely, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor practices/low stock, and uses inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operates/maintains forklifts safely, reports poor/unsafe conditions/practices, and notifies management of forklift issues
  • Proactively identifies/engages customers needing technology help, assists with technology services/items, models technology use, identifies/fixes shrink opportunities/problems, maintains equipment, and ensures proper organization/stocking
  • Embraces differences, creates inclusive culture, supports associates, and helps attract talent
  • Works as a team and builds strong, trusting relationships

Responsibilities

  • Implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying policies in business processes
  • Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets with forklift
  • Identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements; adapting to change/feedback
  • Receiving, stocking, organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers; correcting shelf capacities; completing/retaining paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Acknowledging members, providing guidance/support on self-service technology, assisting purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues/concerns, promoting products/services
  • Maintaining facility safety through sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling/disposal, steel standards, and reporting/correcting unsafe situations
  • Maintaining sales floor/merchandising: zoning, stocking/rotating, removing damaged/out-of-date goods, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving/sorting/staging/delivering merchandise, displaying promotional/seasonal items, processing defective merchandise, ensuring sanitation/food safety, monitoring shrink/security/safety
  • Filling club pick up orders: assisting picking/staging throughout day, ensuring proper selection/staging per policy, ensuring timely picking by Merchandising Associates, performing accuracy audits
  • Tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage timely; reporting poor practices/low stock; using inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operating/maintaining forklifts safely; reporting poor/unsafe conditions/practices; notifying management of forklift issues
  • Identifying/engaging customers for technology help; assisting with services/items; modeling for others; identifying/fixing shrink issues; maintaining equipment; organizing/stocking products; fixing problems promptly
