Responsibilities

  • Implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets with forklift
  • Identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress
  • Determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities
  • Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers
  • Merchandising; correcting shelf capacities; completing/retaining paperwork, logs, documentation
  • Providing member service: locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products/services
  • Maintaining facility safety: correcting/reporting unsafe situations to management
  • Maintaining sales floor and merchandising presentation per policies
  • Receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise
  • Ensuring prominent display of promotional/seasonal merchandise
  • Filling club pick up orders: picking, staging, auditing for accuracy within timeframes
  • Reporting low in-stock levels and poor inventory practices in assigned area
  • Reporting when forklifts are not in proper working order to management
  • Taking steps to fix shrink opportunities/problems with products, services, work areas
  • Promptly fixing any equipment/product organization problems
