Requirements

  • Acknowledges members, identifies needs, provides guidance on self-service technology, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves issues, and promotes products/services
  • Conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting procedures, handles/disposes of hazardous materials per company guidelines, and reports unsafe situations
  • Properly zones areas, stocks/rotates merchandise, removes damaged/out-of-date goods, sets up/cleans/organizes displays, maintains modular integrity, receives/sorts/stages/delivers merchandise, ensures prominent promotional/seasonal displays, processes defective merchandise, follows sanitation/food safety policies, and monitors shrink/security/safety risks
  • Assists with picking/staging club pick up orders per company policy, ensures timely and proper staging, and performs accuracy audits
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, controls shrinkage timely; reports poor practices/low stock; uses inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operates/maintains forklifts safely; reports poor/unsafe conditions/practices; notifies management of forklift issues
  • Proactively identifies/engages customers needing technology help; models/assists with technology services; identifies/fixes shrink opportunities/problems; maintains equipment and ensures proper organization/stocking

Responsibilities

  • Implementing action plans related to company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity in business processes
  • Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets using forklift
  • Identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements; adapting to change/feedback
  • Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers throughout the facility
  • Providing member service through acknowledgment, needs identification, guidance, support, purchasing assistance, issue resolution, and promotion
  • Maintaining facility safety via sweeps, procedures for forklifts/hazardous materials/steel standards, and reporting/correcting unsafe situations
  • Maintaining sales floor and merchandising presentation per policies (zoning, stocking/rotating, displays, modular integrity, receiving/staging/delivery, promotions, defect processing, sanitation/food safety, shrink/security monitoring)
  • Filling club pick up orders by assisting with picking/staging, ensuring policy compliance, timely execution, proper staging, and accuracy audits
  • Tracking/maintaining inventory, controlling shrinkage, reporting issues, using tools safely
  • Operating/maintaining forklifts safely, reporting issues/unsafe conditions
  • Assisting customers with technology services, modeling usage, identifying/fixing shrink/problems, maintaining equipment/organization/stocking
