Requirements

  • Ability to operate forklift following company standards and guidelines safely
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards for inventory management, equipment use, merchandising, safety, sanitation, and food safety
  • Capability to conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, and report unsafe situations
  • Skills in using self-service technology, assisting members, resolving issues, and promoting products/services

  • Ability to collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; and adapt to change

Responsibilities

  • Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
  • Receive, stock, organize merchandise and supplies; manage inventory flow; handle exceptions; correct shelf capacities; complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, guide on self-service tech, assist with purchases, locate merchandise, resolve issues, promote products/services
  • Maintain facility safety: conduct sweeps, follow spotting/hazardous materials/steel standard procedures, correct/report unsafe situations
  • Maintain sales floor and merchandising: zone areas, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, maintain modular integrity, receive/sort/stage/deliver merchandise, ensure prominent promotional/seasonal displays, process defective merchandise, follow sanitation/food safety policies, monitor shrink/security/safety risks
  • Assist with club pick up orders: pick, stage products per policy, ensure timely/accurate staging, perform occasional audits
  • Implement action plans for policies/procedures/ethics; use Open Door Policy in business practices
  • Complete work assignments: use policies/data/resources, identify priorities/deadlines, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change/feedback
