  • Verify raw materials and finished products comply with federal, state, and company specifications, producing accurate results while multitasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Maintain knowledge of laboratory functions (e.g., operations, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair) through cross-training in Food Safety QA department roles (e.g., MSS Validation Coordinator, Sanitation Specialist, Quality Systems Specialist, Micro Technician) and sustaining calibration programs for instruments and equipment
  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset: assist in identifying and correcting process improvement opportunities, conduct statistical process control and root cause analysis, participate in continuous improvement projects
