Requirements
- Ability to maintain highest standards of quality and food safety by monitoring, testing, recording, and reacting to data on products, production, processes, and quality (e.g., Critical Control Points, Key Performance Indexes)
- Skill in verifying raw materials and finished products comply with federal, state, and company specifications while producing accurate results in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Proactive approach to anticipating problems or conflicts

- Knowledge of laboratory functions (e.g., operations, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair) through cross-training in Food Safety QA roles (e.g., MSS Validation Coordinator, Sanitation Specialist, Quality Systems Specialist, Micro Technician) and sustaining calibration programs for instruments and equipment
- Continuous improvement mindset, including identifying and correcting process improvement opportunities, conducting statistical process control, root cause analysis, and participating in continuous improvement projects
