Requirements
- Experienced Machine Operator
- Ability to work in a dairy processing environment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Adherence to food safety and quality system requirements
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Ability to communicate effectively with departments, management, and associates
- Willingness to work 6:30pm - 7:00am Fri - Sun shift
Responsibilities
- Operates and monitors filling machinery
- Tracks and adjusts fill weights to meet bottle specifications
- Oversees cap monitoring, capping, and general product packaging
- Cleans, sets up, operates, and monitors filling equipment
- Performs all necessary quality checks and completes documentation for filling machinery
- Records production and quality data
- Conducts filler line changeovers
- Adheres to all sanitation and quality policies and procedures
- Keeps the workspace clean, sanitary, and safe
- Communicates with other departments, management, and associates, and promptly reports any issues or concerns impacting production efficiency
- Reports any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; carries out tasks; communicates progress; recommends improvements; adapts to change
- Embraces differences, creates inclusive workplace, builds team relationships, mentors others
- Maintains highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance; holds self and others accountable
