  • Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques, and management tools; ability to own project tasks, support process updates, solve simple business issues, and demonstrate functional knowledge of supported business unit
  • Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance/safety/food safety auditing, regulatory inspections, emergency plans; ability to participate in inspections, ensure first aid equipment/supplies readiness, maintain records, monitor hazards, use evaluation tools, apply continuous improvement, identify root causes for accidents, report violations, implement audits, create action plans, and validate claims with case managers
  • Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies/practices/guidelines and environmental/health/safety laws/regulations; ability to work with theft prevention tools, recognize and investigate security breaches

Responsibilities

  • Operate tools for evaluating air/water/waste pollution, support regulatory visits, prepare audit reports, evaluate pollution control, integrate environmental considerations into process design, interpret compliance/risk reports, assist in policy/procedure development, implement environmental policies, and ensure legislative compliance
  • Explain operational functions/roles of departments, clarify departmental relevance to strategy and interdependencies, identify primary organizational functions, locate/read SOP/OBW info, and list common operations tasks/activities
  • Own delivery of assigned project activities/tasks, support process updates/changes, solve simple business issues, and demonstrate knowledge of supported business unit
  • Participate in OSHA/regulatory/safety inspections, ensure first aid equipment/supplies are operational/stocked, maintain health/safety records, monitor facilities for hazards, use quality evaluation tools (e.g., walkthroughs/inspections), apply continuous improvement, participate in root cause analysis for accidents, report violations/accidents, implement audit requirements, create action plans for findings, and validate claims with worker's compensation managers
  • Work with theft prevention tools, recognize and investigate security breaches
