Responsibilities

  • Articulates levers that influence data, ensures data quality, organizes processes/information for analysis, develops/implements technology changes across processes
  • Operates tools/equipment for evaluating air/water/waste pollution, supports regulatory visits, prepares audit reports for management, participates in evaluating pollution control/management, assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design, interprets/evaluates compliance status reports/risk management practices, assists in developing company policies/practices/procedures relating to environmental risks, implements environmental policies/practices, ensures compliance with environmental legislation
  • Explains operational functions/key roles of assigned department/unit, clarifies role of each department/relevance to enterprise strategy, describes interdependence of support/line functions, identifies primary operational functions, understands where to locate/read SOP/OBW information, locates information on fundamental practices/policies, lists common tasks/activities of operations functions/subfunctions
  • Owns delivery of project activity/tasks assigned by others, supports process updates/changes, solves simple business issues, demonstrates functional knowledge of supported business unit/organization
  • Participates in OSHA/other regulatory inspections, participates in internal safety/health inspections, ensures first aid equipment is operational/supplies are current/stocked, maintains health/safety records per OSHA, monitors facilities for safety hazards, uses quality evaluation tools (e.g., walkthroughs/inspections), applies continuous improvement processes/evaluates quality impacts, participates in root cause identification for accidents, reports safety violations/accidents, implements internal/external audit requirements, creates action plans for audit findings, validates claim records/works with workers compensation case managers for investigations
  • Works with tools for theft prevention, recognizes/investigates security breaches/thefts/vandalism and reports findings to facility management, assists in implementing access control procedures
