Candidates must be board-certified Family Nurse Practitioners with a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program and prior graduation from an accredited nursing school. An active RN license, active Nurse Practitioner license, and at least 3 years of experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings are required. Possession of an active RN compact license and five or more active state licenses is preferred. Candidates must also maintain active Medicare status and not be excluded from federal health programs. Prior telemedicine experience is preferred.
The Nurse Practitioner will deliver comprehensive virtual care to patients of all ages, conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of conditions. They will order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and document treatment plans, and manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include requesting consultations, counseling and educating patients and families, maintaining current knowledge of clinical best practices, and providing cross-coverage for tasks like reviewing lab results. Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is also required.
