The Trucking Underwriter will review and evaluate new and renewal commercial trucking insurance applications, analyze risk exposure, loss history, and underwriting guidelines to determine eligibility, coverage terms, and pricing. They will ensure policies comply with company standards and regulations, develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and clients, and monitor a book of business. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on industry trends and regulations, collaborating with claims and loss control teams, and mentoring junior underwriters.
