Candidates should possess a degree in software engineering, mathematics, or computer science, and a minimum of two years of combined industry experience within AAA game development studios. Strong C++ and low-level, high-performance coding skills are required, along with familiarity with code design patterns such as Object Oriented Programming. Experience with XML, XAML, and Json file formats is also necessary.
As a UI programmer, you will work on all areas of UI code development, delivering technology updates and game feature code, and providing time estimates and technical issue forecasting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, fully debugged, and performant code to the agreed-upon time requirements, while frequently communicating updates to your lead and involving them in discussions. You will also review other programmers’ code and ensure it meets quality levels, and collaborate with other UI team members.
