Strong C++ and low-level, high-performance coding skills are essential, along with comfort using code design patterns like Object Orientated Programming. Familiarity with XML, XAML, JSON, bug tracking software, communication tools, and version control software is required. A plus would be 1+ published AAA console titles and experience with C# and tools programming.
The UI Programmer will work across all UI code development areas, delivering technology updates and game feature code. They will be responsible for assigned feature areas and tasks, provide time estimates and technical issue forecasting, and communicate frequent updates to their lead. Responsibilities also include delivering high-quality, debugged, and performant code on time, and reviewing other programmers' code to ensure it meets required quality levels.
