Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant design experience, a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of aesthetic and functional design skills, proficiency in Figma and Photoshop (or equivalent design tools), and deep knowledge of UI patterns and principles. They should be able to translate complex features and requirements into user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces and have experience designing for production-ready applications or devices.

Responsibilities

The UI Designer will bring artistic skill and a keen eye for visual detail to multiple platforms, including hardware, web, and mobile, leading the creation and iteration of design systems, UI components, and interaction patterns for all of Mashgin’s user-facing products. They will collaborate directly with software/hardware teams to ensure designs are implementable and realistic, and will occasionally dip into basic CSS to confirm design translation into code, sharing design best practices across the organization to cultivate a design-centric culture.
