Requirements
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, possess a minimum of a 12th grade education, and have at least one year of experience driving a commercial vehicle exceeding 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required, along with successful completion of a forklift driver licensing process.
Responsibilities
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers and operations, picking up material from vendors, and conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. They must secure loads, maintain equipment, complete paperwork, verify shipping documents, and maintain radio/telephone contact with base or supervisor while adhering to all applicable safety, DOT, and Company rules, as well as performing preventive maintenance and participating in safety programs.
