Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering or related
  • Experience with TM Systems (WallStreet Suite, SAP, FIS-Quantum)

Responsibilities

  • Administer GM's Treasury Management System
  • Confirm all trades done with banks
  • Oversee bank portal access/control
  • Ensure process compliance related to treasury payments
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across business processes (Process Optimization & Standardization)
  • Ensure consistent practices across regions or departments
  • Manage GM Treasury compliance & controls, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Support audit requests and documentation
  • Ensure data integrity in Treasury Management Systems
  • Coordinate change management & implementation, including training and adoption efforts
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Lead project of upcoming TMS upgrade and implementation
  • Address operational disruptions and ensure contingency plans are in place (Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation)
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of FX, derivatives, and money market transactions (Trade Settlement & Confirmation)
  • Confirm trades with counterparties and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate effectively within high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Help teams understand project relevance to operational strategy and enterprise goals
  • Demonstrate leadership by embodying GM behaviors, prioritizing personal development, and fostering a positive Workplace of Choice culture
  • Anticipate and meet partner needs proactively, contributing to workload prioritization and decision-making processes
  • Lead negotiations with business partners
  • Set up and improve cash management processes for existing and new entities
  • Provide guidance and coordination for bank and other financial account opening, closing
  • Support audit and KYC requests related to entities
