Requirements

Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor will directly supervise waste handling activities, including sampling, analysis, documentation, and disposition, ensuring plant and personnel safety by enforcing procedures and providing training. Responsibilities include supervising personnel and inventory compliance, coordinating with vendors and transporters, managing housekeeping and chemical storage, directing off-loading operations, and ensuring safe and effective waste treatment through sample analysis and batch clearance approvals. The role involves notifying personnel of maintenance needs, reviewing RCRA manifests, training staff on processing procedures, participating in emergency response, and carrying out all supervisory duties such as interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving problems.
