Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, be available for overtime, nights, and/or weekends as needed, and be capable of working independently and within a team; they are also subject to a background check and preferred to have NCDOT certifications (Asphalt Roadway, CEPSCI, Earthwork & Concrete) and previous NCDOT inspection experience.

Responsibilities

The Transportation Construction Technician will verify all work performed to be in accordance with plans and contractual specifications, perform measurement and verification of pay quantities, dimensions, and specifications, and act as a liaison between the DOT/Local Agency Project Manager and the prime contractor.
