Candidates must have 3+ years of transportation construction experience, ideally within the State of Virginia, with preferred experience in paving, roadway, and bridge construction inspection and records keeping.
Required certifications are preferred, but class enrollment for certifications will be provided for candidates with applicable construction inspection experience.
The role supports projects throughout the VDOT Fredericksburg District and surrounding areas of Northern Neck and Saluda Residencies, requiring a valid driver’s license and availability for night work, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.

Strong candidates have 3+ years of transportation construction experience in Virginia, experience with paving, roadway, and bridge inspection, required certifications or enrollment eligibility, a valid driver’s license, ability to work independently and in a team, and availability for night work, OT, and weekends.
