Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work at night, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
  • Capable of working independently and within a team
  • Subject to background check
  • Able to perform field inspection duties
  • Able to maintain project records, including compiling daily field reports, maintaining the project materials notebook, and generating monthly estimates
  • 3+ years of transportation construction experience, ideally within the State of Virginia
  • Preferred: All VDOT certifications (partial certifications considered depending on previous project experience)

Responsibilities

  • Verification of all work performed being in accordance with plans & contractual specs
  • Measurement & verification of pay quantities, dimensions & specifications
  • Act as a liaison between LAP program administrators and prime contractor
